Leslie Gresham, Of Counsel

Leslie Gresham is the founder and managing attorney of Gresham Law Group, LLC. She is Of Counsel to Brock Law, LLC in family law matters. Leslie M. Gresham, born in Atlanta, Georgia, graduated from Georgia State University in 1992, with a B.A. in Philosophy. She obtained her Law Degree in 1995 from Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C., where she was on the editorial staff of the Scroll: Social Justice Review. She moved to Clayton County directly from Law school and began her legal career as an associate with Ferguson & Ferguson, P.C. Practicing primarily in the area of Family/Domestic/Juvenile Law. For four (4) years (2001-2004) she sat as part-time Associate Judge for Clayton County Magistrate Court, for three of those years she was the only African-American Judge in Clayton County. She also sat as Judge/Pro Tempore in the Clayton County Juvenile Court until December 2009. Leslie Gresham has dedicated her career to serving children through various positions in the Juvenile and Superior Court system. As Project Manager for JUSTGA for Georgia Appleseed Center for Law and Justice she coordinated town hall meetings throughout the entire state and sat on the legislative committee for the rewrite of Georgia’s Juvenile Code. She has represented children charged with delinquent crimes; parents at risk of losing custody and who have lost custody of their children; children who have been abused by their parents; and the Department of Family and Children Services. She is frequently appointed by Superior Court Judges as Guardian ad Litem (GAL) to provide evaluations and recommendations in cases involving custody and visitation. Currently she represents the Department of Family and Children Services and Office of Child Support Services as a Special Assistant Attorney General (SAAG), assists the Superior Court as GAL in custody proceedings and is the Principal Attorney for Gresham Law Group, LLC.
